Gawker Media launches lucky number 13
NEWSFLASH: Blogebrity actually has a bit of actual blog-related reporting for you, on this lovely Wednesday (I know, what a thought) –
Nick Denton & Co.’s stable of blogs just got one bigger, as they launched Oddjack. We could tell you more, but why not let the release statement from Lockhart Steele do the talking:
We’ve covered a range of other vices, from gossip to porn. And our legal department is understretched by libel and obscenity suits. It’s time for gambling.
The site is written by A.J. Daulerio, one of the founders of webzine The Black Table, and a newly-minted B-lister, and from first glance, definitely seems worth a read (especially if you’re prone to laying the occasional wager and/or managing Fantasy sports dynasties).
