Algorithmic quotes about The List

It took a long time, and a lot of hard work to track down friends of friends of blogebrities. But here is what a few folks overheard about The LIst.

Nick Denton

“Technorati is so cooked !” - on finding out he was on the list even though he doesn’t blog.

Kottke
“If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.” - When his readers complained he needed to act like an A-Lister instead of a C-Lister.

Heather Armstrong

“For nine months I grew a blog inside me and then I pushed it out into the mainstream and now I’m feeding it with my boob. What a blogosphere.” - On finding out she had made the list after having a baby.
(By the way can someone help me navigate I got lost in this blogvertisement)

Steve Rubel
“Participatory Journalism obviously has nothing to do with design it has more to do with logic and logically I deserve to be on the list.” - After finding out he was on the list even with a standard issue template.
(Must be all his readers are feed readers…)

Nick Douglas
“Why am I not on the list? Didn’t I create the list. Kyle can you please please please put me on the list?” - Moments after he noticed Kyle nixed him from the list.
