2006 Bloggies: It’s Nominating Time

2006 Bloggies - Vote for Blogebrity

Ladies and gentlemen of the blogging academy, Nikolai Nolan’s Bloggies are now accepting nominations for their 2006 edition.

Gone from this year’s list are Best Meme, Best Article or Essay About Weblogs, and Best Non-Weblog Content of a Weblog Site; replaced with Best Podcast of a Weblog, Best Craft Weblog, and Best Teen Weblog.

Blogebrity will be providing detailed coverage of the Bloggies from nominations through the awards show, complete with Joan Rivers on the Red Carpet.

For now, we humbly (i.e. shamelessly) submit ourselves for consideration in the following:

  • Best American Weblog
  • Most Humorous Weblog
  • Best Group Weblog
  • Best New Weblog
  • Weblog of the Year

And Bloggie voters–be sure to watch for our ad in Variety.

  1. Nominating is painless. Much less so than voting.

That picture of Halle cracks me up, because it looks like she just vomited out her award and is pointing at it saying “I don’t remember when I ate that! “

  2. Love the Halle photo…
