NKOTB: Metroblogging Denver and Dublin

The Metroblogging party bus has added two more stops to their magical mystery tour — yesterday Denver, today Dublin — Denver launches with 5 authors, Dublin with 6. Especially high-marks for the authenticity on these Dublin author names — Auld Dubliner, Caoimhe, Daragh McGrath, Karlin Lillington, and Rick O’Shea (sorry Jeff W. — not Irish enough).

This week’s double D’s bring the total number of Metblogs cities/sites to 42. If they haven’t already made it to your metropolis, just give it a few….chances are they’re on their way.

  1. Is it wrong to ask how MB is paying writers in 42 cities? Doesn’t seem like they have many ads– and it seems wrong to entice people to post for you if you have no intention of paying them (and keep all the ad revenue to pay yourself.) What’s up w/that?

  2. Is it wrong to hope that people who ask loaded questions in comments use real names? Or at least spell their fake ones correctly? (missing an “n” there).
