Jimmy Kimmel vs. Gawker’s Emily Gould on Larry King Live
1. Emily Gould is no Jessica Coen. The former Gawker editor could jab out from a tight spot. She’s like a cornered puma. (Fellow alums Choire Sicha and Elizabeth Spiers? Other, similar pumas.) But when Kimmel criticizes the user-submitted “Gawker Stalker” celebrity-sighting feature, Gould acts like a flustered, wide-eyed audience member from The View. She gets a bit of the Gawker party line out (”You get an unfiltered — the way that people see celebrities in real time”), but then she lets everyone walk over her. (Oh no! Someone called Kevin Costner fat!) When Jimmy “least-deserving husband of Sarah Silverman ever” Kimmel says “I think you need to think about your life,” strike back! Dammit Gould, get some balls!
2. Why hasn’t anyone else cloned Gawker Stalker? It’s a cash cow; it doubled Gawker’s traffic in its first month!

seattlenotables.com is sort of like a gawkerstalker for seattle, but it’s a little bit more of an art project than a celebrity tracker.

oh god… the shoulder-shrugging puppy dog defense was painful to watch.
would’ve been nice to see some sass instead of faux-innocence.

Jimmy has came a long way since hosting”The Man Show”.I liked watching it and I am a conservative woman. I found it to be amusing. I’m sure I would find the Gawster web site amusing as well. But, for Jimmy to make accusations about anyone going to hell, well, that’s just ridiculous! I remember episodes on The Man Show where they had a young boy insulting women on the street and sexually harass girls at a college campus. I was amused but, come on Jimmy, that was way more sinful than what Emily does for a living. Maybe Jimmy has asked forgiveness for that behavior, who knows? He surely has no right attacking a sweet lady on a show that he had no business hosting in the first place. He is rude and crude and will never be as respected as Larry King.I just wish Emily would have stood up for herself and brought up these “Man Show” episodes to Jimmy when he made comments about her going to hell. He is just lucky that it wasn’t me that he had said that to. Jimmy Kimmel is a joke and not a real man. His show should have been called”The Little Boy Show”! “Ziggy zoggy Jimmy, back to your baby crib!”

It’s sad that a something like her can make money with the mentality of a 12 year old child.
My ideal ending to this chapter would be to see Jimmy’s gf, Sarah Silverman, have a go at Emily’s oversized cranium.
