Blogebrity is welcoming the explosion of the first generation of bloggers and their rise to media dominance.

Editor Emeritus

Nick Douglas

nick-headshot.jpgNick Douglas wrote for Blogebrity in 2005, said gossipy things about Gawker Media and its publisher Nick Denton, got hired by Denton (and dropped out of college) to write a Silicon Valley gossip blog called Valleywag, got fired after nine months, got hired back to write a column, then came back here to edit and write. In addition to Blogebrity and his daily Valleywag column, Nick writes for the Huffington Post’s media blog, Eat the Press. He also records a daily online show, Look Shiny. He’s the one to e-mail if you want to work for Blogebrity.

Kyle Bunch

kyle-headshot.jpgKyle Bunch co-founded Blogebrity in 2005. Since then, he’s served as Publisher and occasional Guest Editor, blogging about blogging with great aplomb while exploring new levels of meta. Kyle is currently a Senior Producer at R/GA in New York. To balance the inherent geekiness of those two jobs, Kyle satiates his appetite for sports as Co-Editor and Publisher of TrojanWire and contributor at AOL’s USC FanHouse, writing about athletics at his alma mater, the Unversity of Southern California. Any thoughts, ideas and rants that don’t find their way to one of those sites usually wind up on his personal blog, Kyle is based in New York City.

Jeremy Hermanns

Jeremy headshotJeremy Hermanns co-founded Blogebrity in 2005. Jeremy leads the business and strategy side of the Blogebrity brain child, while working on the development of The List index, as well as many other logistical and technology needs. After graduating from USC’s Annenberg School, his resume includes tenures at Zentropy Partners (MRM), Overture and Yahoo!. Currently, he is Director of Search Marketing at TribalDDB (Interactive Agency of the Year, 2006). Mr. Hermanns rarely ‘unplugs’ from the online world: in his uber-life, he writes for Yelp, {togawp} and his personal site Jeremy Hermanns dot org. He lives in Downtown Los Angeles, living the urban life while chowing down ramen and sushi on a daily basis.
